Opportunities
An Implementation Specialist is a team player with drive, ambition and self-motivation to exceed and meet educational business objectives. Individuals in this role have regular interactions with the end user and will be responsible for key relationships that maximize usage and results with their clients. The Implementation Specialist will take a central role in ensuring appropriate implementation of Apangea products with emphasis on a positive start-up and ongoing consultative support through critical points during the customer experience. Our goal is to drive product usage, student engagement and increase our customer's independent ability to facilitate product implementation and then coach them through classroom challenges.
This position will report to the State Implementation Director.
Job Objectives:
Supports Apangea's customer services, sales and business operations efforts including:
- Maintain full operational process compliance
- Ensure top tier customer service and quality operations
- Maintain a consultative approach to training and product implementation
- Update the client database (Salesforce) on a daily basis and communicates effectively to collaborative team members
- Assess and interpret account performance, providing solutions for increasing usage and managing the overall customer experience
- Work collaboratively with sales, education and technology teams to manage customer interaction and expectations
- (All) Foster an environment of partnership and collaboration and communication with key stakeholders
- (Senior or Lead) Serve as Lead IS and primary point of contact and communication for State Implementation Team.

Apangea Learning is seeking Interactive Engineer who is creative and intellectually curious to help us continue to advance alternate methods of teaching students through technology. The qualified candidates will possess an experienced skill set in graphic design, programming and information lay out. The core duties of this position will include the following:
- Responsibilities include creation of web applications from scratch using Flash ActionScript programming and Flash.NET
- Responsible for users experience design to define the sequence of interactions between a user and the products
- Lead the overall visual appearance of content and how it communicates visually, stimulates moods, contrasts features and psychologically appeals to target audiences
Required Skills
- Requires development skills including XHTML, JavaSript, Flash, SEO/analytics, content imagery and CSS
- The position requires good verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work with others in a team environment.
- Must enjoy the challenges and rewards of an interactive small group setting with great exposure for sharing ideas.
- Experience in creatively using various user interface tools
- Great attention to details

Apangea Learning is seeking Software Engineers who are creative and intellectually curious to help us continue to advance alternate methods of teaching students through technology. The qualified candidates will possess a mid-level skill set in the systems, programming, and tech support areas. The core duties of this position will include the following:
- Responsibilities include creation of functional and technical specifications, testing, system management, reporting and technical documentation in a highly dynamic work environment.
- Using common technology such as .NET, Flash, SQL, etc. to design and develop uniquely creative solutions for products and customers requirements.
- " Assist with the day-to-day operations in the Product Development department.
Required Skills

- Experience in systems analysis and programming, addressing unique issues of architecture and data management.

Apangea Learning Math Tutors work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment teaching students in grades 5-12 in various levels of mathematics with a concentration on middle school mathematics. Job responsibilties include:
- Provide ongoing math teaching services to students in grades 5-12 using our unique technology.
- Provide instruction that is both high quality and efficient.
- 3. Potential opportunities include: write and edit mathematics curricula, provide professional development to teachers, serve as an academic counselor to our students.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in education or a related field is required.
- State teaching certification required (middle school math or secondary math certification is preferred).
- Act 34, 114 and 151 Clearances required.
- Demonstrated successful experience in education or an education-related field.
- Ability to multi-task and independently problem-solve.
- Strong personality and communication skills.
- Strong technology skills with an emphasis on typing skills and the Microsoft Office software suite.
- Second language preferred, but not required.
