John Rolfe Middle School

In 2008 John Rolfe Middle School was marked as being an underperforming school in mathematics. As a part of a consistently utilized and accessed remediation program, 925 students used Apangea Learning math. As a result, students increased their SOL test (Standards of Learning) an average of 21 points and raised the pass rate from 52% in 2008 to 72% in 2009.

"Apangea has helped me a lot. Last year in 8th grade, I was in algebra. I am still in algebra because I didn't do too good. But now that I did Apangea, I get to go to geometry next year. I am so excited I don't have to do algebra again!" -
