Beyond this, students need to also learn critical cognitive thinking skills. Additionally, students need to be motivated to learn. Some students are self-motivated; some are not. But when students are motivated to learn and they succeed, something magical happens: their academic self-esteem improves. And as their academic self-esteem increases so does their motivation to learn!

Cognitive Thinking Skills
SmartHelp teaches students critical cognitive skills that teach students a process for thinking. SmartHelp students develop proven strategies for breaking down problems into manageable pieces and successfully solving them.

Academic Self-Esteem
Far too often, student self-esteem is overlooked. SmartHelp constantly adapts to reward students at different levels for their efforts, thereby increasing student academic self-esteem. And as you know, when self-esteem goes up, achievement goes up as well.
